Wanda Lacey, President of Certified Senior Services, Inc., is uniquely an independent agent and a specialist in long-term care insurance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the UNCG Business School, and worked in Plant Management for a Fortune 100 Manufacturer, becoming the first female plant manager ever for the company. When she began working in insurance twelve years ago, she became the top producing long-term care agent in the country for a major insurance company in her first full year in sales. In 1999, on her way to help a client invest in a long-term care policy, Wanda came to a turning point in her life and career. In a severe collision with a speeding pickup truck, she was critically injured and had a stroke at the scene. Paralyzed on her right side and with cognitive damage for both language and reading, she began her own long-term care experience, at only 38 years old. |

When that accident occurred, Wanda became permanently and instantly uninsurable for long-term care insurance. Luckily, she already owned a policy, and during her two years of extensive rehab she began to be driven with a desire to help other people learn about the value of long-term care insurance. Armed with her experience both personally and in the business world, Wanda completed her rehab by opening Certified Senior Services, a totally independent agency specializing in long-term care insurance and wise financial planning. Now she is the area’s preeminent authority in her industry. She has an hour long monthly radio show on Mondays with Max Meeks (8:00am - 9:00am) WMFR – 1230AM. She also appears as a weekly guest every Tuesday morning with Glenn Scott (after 8:30am news) WSJS – 600AM. She is available for seminars or speaking engagements to educate people on long-term care insurance. |
